A large part of our mission is serving dogs and families on Native American reservations in Arizona, where access to affordable veterinary care, spay/neuter services, food, transportation, and other basic resources can be extremely limited. We believe the answer is not simply removing animals from these communities—it is showing up consistently, building relationships, and providing resources that help both the animals and the people who love them.
Our team regularly travels to reservation communities to provide dog and cat food, flea and tick prevention, vaccines, medical assistance, and transportation for veterinary care. One of our most important initiatives is spay and neuter. We transport owned animals off the reservation for surgery, care for them throughout their recovery, and return them safely to their families. This allows beloved pets to stay in their homes while helping prevent countless unwanted litters and reducing the number of animals born into already overwhelmed communities.
When an animal is injured, abandoned, critically ill, or can no longer remain where they are, we step in whenever we possibly can. Many arrive scared, sick, malnourished, covered in ticks, or having never known consistent care. We provide the medical treatment, rehabilitation, patience, and time they need before finding them loving homes.
But rescue, to us, is bigger than adoption.
Some of our proudest work never results in an adoption photo. It is the dog who gets spayed and goes back home to the family who loves her. It is the bag of food that helps someone feed their animals through a difficult month. It is treating ticks before they become a life-threatening illness. It is preventing the next litter instead of waiting until those puppies need to be rescued.
We have helped hundreds of animals through spay/neuter and continue to provide food assistance to more than 100 animals each month. We do this work hands-on—driving the miles, transporting animals, coordinating veterinary care, recovering them, delivering supplies, and returning again and again.
We are incredibly proud of every animal we place into a home, but we are equally proud of the animals who never have to enter the rescue system because we were able to help them stay healthy, safe, and loved in the homes they already had.
Our mission is simple: go where the need is, help without judgment, and never stop showing up for the animals and communities that need us most.
